Tiger Woods wife moves out Tiger Woods' wife Elin has moved out of their house, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively. The explosive development follows numerous women coming forward with claims of affairs with the golfing great. Elin Nordegren had enough and moved out of the $2.6 million Windermere home,neighbors and other sources close to Tiger, told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Sources tell RadarOnline.com that Elin is living nearby in another house. Tiger’s affair with Rachel Uchitel was revealed by the National Enquirer and then several other women came forward to tell their stories of sexual relationships with the golfer. Shakira promotes universal education
Colombian pop princess Shakira spoke of the importance of education before a group of 400 Oxford University students in England on Monday. In true Colombian style the Barranquilla bombshell arrived 20 minutes late for her presentation to the Oxford debating society, resplendent in a coral pink dress and black cardigan. The crowd's disappointment that there would be "no hip shaking whatsoever," was countered by the Unicef Goodwill Ambassador's speech on the importance of education in the developing world. Shakira said that change comes through the "democratisation of education" and she stressed the importance of universal access to learning. She appealed to the students to use their intelligence for the greater good, saying, "from your minds, ideas will sprout that will change the world." Shakira expressed her delight at the opportunity to address the world renowned debating club like other celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Winston Churchill, Malcolm X and Diego Maradona. On a personal note the curvaceous Colombiana spoke of looking forward to future artistic challenges as well as "maybe one day having babies of my own." SOURCE |

Let the Right One remake ("Let Me In") Script Synopsis/Review
 So...I've made a couple of posts about the Let the Right One In remake, and all of them have garnered quite a bit of comments from people. Don't feel like rehashing the whole thing--unless you're familiar with this, you probably won't care either way. Some people were pissed off because they see it as Hollywood getting their grubby hands on yet another foreign property. Others were more optimistic. Their defense was that this was NOT a remake, but rather an ADAPTATION of the original novel that the film took its basis on. They claimed that the fans of the original film were overreacting, and that this had the potential to be something different as opposed to a slipshod rehash of the original film came out. Well the first script review came out, and it's a pretty thorough summary of what to expect Let Me In to be about. For those who were expecting a more faithful adaptation of the novel--prepare to be disappointed. None of the omitted stuff from the original story is here. For those who have defended this film, saying that it will be substantially different from what the original director and screenwriter did--it's not. 99% of this is copied verbatim from the original film. The biggest change I noticed was a rearranging of events in the beginning. And as you all predicted, a certain third-act revelation concerning a character is nowhere to be found. I guess there's the possibility that Matt Reeves will be a good director for this and that the actors they have chosen will do a good job, but this is looking more and more like yet another cash-in from Hollywood with no real identity of its own. If you aren't familiar with the original film, then beware of SPOILERS. If you are, you really have nothing to worry about. Read the review here. Current Mood:  cynical |

Twilight Stars Snatched from Burger King
TMZ has learned multiple Burger King restaurants across the country are reporting life-size promotional posters of Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson are being ripped right off the BK windows in broad daylight ... horrible time for a vampire.
So far, the interstate theft has affected BKs in Maine, Delaware and Montana. One Burger King rep tell us, "The girls just walk up in the middle of the day ... rip off the posters and run ... we've had to replace them over and over."

John Lithgow on life as the Trinity Killer and entertaining "stupid" children
It was hard to imagine how “Dexter” could get any creepier, but somehow, Season 4 guest star John Lithgow made it happen. Lithgow plays Arthur Mitchell, the Trinity Killer. Lithgow has played plenty of villains in his long and colorful career -- and plenty of comedic characters as well, including in several albums and productions for children. I caught up with him before the season finale of “Dexter” airs Dec. 13 on Showtime. How was Arthur Mitchell described to you when the role came up?
I was offered the part on a Wednesday night, and Thursday morning I heard this long pitch from Clyde Phillips and John Goldwyn (Clyde is “Dexter’s" show runner, executive producer and head writer) to lure me into playing the role. They told me the story to make it as suspenseful and compelling as they possibly could. So, I heard this great round-the-fireside ghost/suspense story. As a result, I knew everything about the season, and nobody else did. The only other person who did was Michael C. Hall, and he doesn't like to be told too much ahead of time. I had this extraordinary secret for three months, and even the directors didn’t know what was coming next. ( the rest here. the "stupid" part bolded. ) source |
